Fort Tilden Skies

Last Tuesday, my friend Jackie and I took the train/bus to Fort Tilden beach. It was a sun-cloud kinda day, and cooler than we expected. I was bummed at first...I wanted SUN. But I'm actually glad we went that particular day, as the skies were strewn with breathtaking cloud formations...and the beach was vacant.

Inspired, I took out my new watercolor set and pad from London and painted a bit. Also included are a few shots of the sky.

I loved how surreal the beach looked, void of people.
Just sky and sand.
