Soup Poem

How bout that soup?
Didja eat it all yet?
You know you can freeze it and eat it

In a few days
Freeze it and then in a month, say:
Oh yeah, what about that soup?

(I laughed)

Eat a little more and then, a year from now, you can say:
Hey, what about that soup?

(I laughed again and drew you nearer) 

Then, fifteen years will go by
And you can think:

Hey, yeah, that soup......

But I threw it away
Long before I could finish it
